Herceg Novi is famous for its various events and festivals held throughout the year. These events attract tourists from all over the world:

Mimosa Festival - The Mimosa Festival is the most popular event, dating back to 1969, and traditionally takes place in early February when the city is covered in Mimosa flower, celebrating the arrival of spring. Each year, a rich offering of different cultural, artistic, and sports events attracts visitors from various countries around the world. Annual highlights include: Fish and wine feasts, Carnival, Masquerade balls, concerts by regional stars, Flower exhibitions, as well as various sports events.

Montenegro Film Festival - The Film festival has been taking place since 1987 when the First Yugoslav Film Direction Festival was held in an open-air cinema. This has remained a significant event for Montenegro's cultural offering.

HAPS - The Herceg Novi April Theater Festival traditionally dedicates the month of April to dramatic arts. Since its establishment in 1996, the festival has changed its concept, but generally, it provides a platform for various theater performances, including dramas, comedies, musicals, and more.

Music Days - The summer classical music festival has a long-standing tradition, complemented each year by regional and international classical music artists performing in open-air concerts, typically from July 10th to 20th.

Guitar Art Summer Fest - As part of the international summer festival of classical guitar, concerts, workshops, and exhibitions are organized, traditionally held in August.

Herceg Novi Comic Book Festival - The festival was established by the Association of Comic Book Enthusiasts with the aim of extending the summer tourist season, starting on the first Friday of September.
